Servings: 1 Total time: 5 min
Ingredients
1 tbsp Benecol Spread
1 ear Corn On The Cob (keep husk on)
Directions
Place the corn in the microwave, do not remove the husk. Microwave the corn on the high setting for 4 minutes. (Note that every microwave is different. You may need to increase or decrease the time by 1 minute.)
Use a kitchen towel or pot holder to remove corn from the microwave (be careful, it's hot!). Cut off the bottom of the corn, stem end, about one inch from the stem.
Use the towel/pot holder to squeeze tightly. The corn will slip out of the husk and silk.
Enjoy the corn on the cob, or cut the kernels off. Toss with some Benecol spread (or butter for those without high cholesterol) and that's it!
Notes
Extra Ears: These instructions are for one ear of corn. To microwave more than one ear at a time, increase the cooking time by 2 minutes for every additional ear of corn. You may need to experiment to find the right time for your microwave.
