Ingredients
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
Jar Method
Add all ingredients to a jar with a lid.
Make sure the lid is secured tightly, then shake for 30 seconds or until all ingredients are emulsified (mixed).
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Bowl Method
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
While whisking continuously, slowly pour in the olive oil until the dressing is emulsified and well combined.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Notes:
Honey can be swapped with maple syrup or your favorite liquid sugar alternative, like allulose syrup.
Extra virgin olive oil can be swapped with regular olive oil, avocado oil, or flaxseed oil.
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of herbs such as rosemary, oregano, or thyme.
