Leaner Turkey Tacos



Servings: 3 Total time: 20 min


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Avocado Oil

  • 2 tsps Taco Seasoning

  • 1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey

  • 6 Corn Tortilla (6")

  • 2 cups Shredded Lettuce (shredded)

  • 1/4 Red Onion (sliced thin)

  • 1/3 cup Guacamole

  • 3 tbsps Salsa


Directions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil.

  2. Add the turkey, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the taco seasoning and mix to combine. Cook for about five minutes.

  3. Divide the turkey into taco shells.

  4. Into each taco, add 2 Tbsp guacamole, 1 Tbsp salsa, and as much shredded lettuce and red onion as you'd like. Enjoy!

 
Notes:
  • Leftovers: Refrigerate the ingredients separately in an airtight container for up to three days.

  • Serving Size: One serving is two tacos.

  • Additional Toppings: Tomatoes, peppers, jalapeños, limes, cilantro, and/or low sodium hot sauce.
