Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 11.5 ounces (1 bag) Guittard extra dark chocolate chips

  • 4 cups (1 quart) of strawberries (kiwi slices, apple slices, pineapple cubes, and cherries also work well)

  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil

Directions

1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. Rinse fruit and pat dry.


3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the coconut oil. Microwave for30-second intervals, stirring between, until the chips are completely melted. (Add sweetener at this point, if using.)


4. Using your fingers or a fork, dip the fruit halfway into the melted chocolate and lay it flat on the baking tray.


5. Refrigerate until set, about 20 minutes. Enjoy.
