Balsamic Brown Sugar Marinade



Servings: 4

Total time: 2 hours


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 2 tbsps Soy Sauce, Low Sodium

  • 3 tbsps Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

  • 2 tbsps Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shallow baking dish and whisk together (alternatively, combine in a large Ziploc bag and shake to mix).

  2. Add protein (and/or veggies) and coat well so it’s all submerged in the mixture. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. 2 hours is better; overnight is best!

 
Notes

  • Portioning 1 serving of marinade is good for 1 lb. of protein (3-4 protein servings). Great for chicken, steak, and seafood. Also, great for vegetables!
